Happy Pride Month Everyone! This is a wonderful time to celebrate what it means to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community and all of the beautiful ways in which we live. It is also an important time to reflect upon our history, where we come from and how our journey developed. Remember, Pride may be a large celebration that many organisations have began to get involved with- but Pride started on the streets with us. It started with brave queer people of colour, trans people and those who fought loudly to be seen and accepted. This month we honour them, remember them and thank them for everything- whilst continuing our fight to support our community.
