Store Policy

At the Lavender Library it is our mission to provide and promote books written by and/or about the LGBTQ community. We want to ensure all members of our community have a place they can feel seen and heard, we do this by stocking books from a range of voices (LGBTQ, BIPOC, neurodivergent, disabled and more.) If you ever have any suggestions about books / authors you would like us to stock, please don't hesitate to reach out to us through our contact section. We love hearing from readers and want to make sure we are giving you the services you need.

In order to ensure our customers are safe, we offer a discreet packaging service. This means that the stickers and business cards included within your order will have no mention of the store being a queer one, and instead will just have a simple floral design on all merchandise. As much as we would love for everyone to be in a safe and secure environment, we know this is not always the case. This is our way of giving people access to stories in the safest way possible.

If there are ever any concerns with a particular author / book being stocked, an issue with your order or anything we can do to be more representative / accessible- please do reach out and contact us.
